On my last trip out here in 1999, I rented a Fat Boy (no kidding) and rode along the Coast highway from Oceanside. This time
I was in La Jolla and the June weather brings in some low clouds in on the coast. It was cloudy every day, and wasn't really
hot.
I didn't go on the conference sponsored golf outing Friday afternoon.
I called up the local San Diego Harley-Davison
rental and booked a 24 hour rental of a 2000 Road King. This year the rental includes unlimited mileage (good thing)
I got an area map from the rental shop, and planned out a ride for that day.
