I had something to eat at the hotel, grabbed a jacket and fired up the scoot' to burn up some more highway. I haven't been to the Hoover Dam since our ride west in 1983, so it seemed like a logical destination.

There was construction all along the road up to the dam. I even had to pass thruough a security vehicle check to get to the site. It was midnight when I got to the viewing area. It was nicely lit up, but didn't photograph well.

After taking a break, I decided to pull in the third state for this ride - so I headed into Arizona for a while, and had to pass through another checkpoint on the other side. I took a rest for some star gazing in the complete darkness on a side road.

It was late, but I had to go back through the city to get to the hotel anyway. Hopped off of the freeway, and cruised up and down the strip that night for a while - sightseeing!

Back out to Sommerlin and the hotel for some ZZZ's.
